Honda teases new motorcycle yet again: Full digital instrument cluster revealed Kunal, August 6, 2023August 10, 2023 Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is currently developing a brand-new two-wheeler for the Indian market. The new product, which was initially uncertain whether it was a motorcycle or a scooter, has now been confirmed to be a motorcycle. The latest teaser showcases the motorcycle’s fully digital instrument cluster, including a tachometer, digital speedometer, gear position indicator, and other features. The motorcycle’s red paint scheme and dual-tone fuel tank were previously revealed in another teaser. However, more details about the upcoming Honda motorcycle are still unknown. According to rumors, the new motorcycle might be the SP160, competing directly with models like the Hero Xtreme 160R and the TVS Apache RTR 160 in the Indian market. It’s important to note that Honda already offers a 160 cc commuter motorcycle in India called the Unicorn, which is equipped with a 162.7 cc single-cylinder air-cooled 2V engine producing 12.9 hp power and 14 Nm torque. It remains to be seen if the new motorcycle will have the same powertrain. If the new motorcycle is indeed the SP160, it could have a starting price of around Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom), putting it in the same price range as its competitors.
